WE MADE IT

After a long flight, 10 hours and 23minutes and 8845km later we have arrived in Japan.  As we got of the plane we were hit by heat (adults happy - children a little shocked) and proceeded our way through customs and a very long terminal in which the floor moved (so you didn't have to).

Then it was onto a train to head into the city of Tokyo where we had a brief glimpse of lights, people and traffic before we gladly climbed into bed at what would be 1.53am NZ time - but only 9.54pm in Japan time.  Either way its a very late night so till later when we have time to write more detail.

Off to the zoo tomorrow and maybe taking on the Tokyo tower!
